I'm currently in Dammam, KSA. I'm scheduled to fly DMM->DOH->BOS on QR on the 21st with my family. If the ban is still in place, should I expect QR to reroute us through Kuwait, Muscat or elsewhere? Would buying a flight from DMM through Kuwait or Muscat to Doha with the intention of securing availability and meeting our DOH->BOS leg be advisable?

Any advice about what should customarily be expected from the airline in such a situation would be appreciated.
