Am I correct the hostesses no longer wear Red Ponchos? I used to see these attractive Avianca hostesses in their red ponchos at 8 AM leaving their hotel to go catch their flight to Bogota while I had to go to work. Since then I wanted to fly Avianca and visit Colombia. FARC kept me away but I think it's OK now to go.
In those days they flew the Boeing 707. One had a bad crash landing in New York.
