I'm surprised at all the nonsensical emotional hysteria in this thread. United should make the appropriate
business-savvy decision. The business savvy decision is one that punishes sufficiently to deter future abuse, yet keeps the customer connected to the brand and willing to spend.
This is not someone on food stamps who tried to steal a cart of grape juice from Walmart.
