Virgin America's first class seat is significantly better than a regular domestic F seat, right? 55" pitch IIRC (vs. ~37-40") with deep-ish recline. But otherwise, it's all pretty much the same, though every once in a while you might see a DL/UA/AA 757 with the flat bed seats they normally use on international.
