As with many things in the Scandinavian countries, the temptation seems to be always to invest money up-front, but without the budget to maintain equipment on a long-term basis.

Sauna is a bad idea for some of the same reasons a gym is a bad idea - getting hot and sweaty, and perhaps dehydrated, is not the sort of thing you want to do before getting on a long haul flight. For novelty value, the Finnair sauna is great, but it's just a small sauna like you'd find in nearly any Finnish apartment, and it's not heavily used as far as I know.
