Most of this thread is quite old but hoping someone can still give me some advice.
We have an overnight here coming up and trying to figure out the logistics and feasibility of going into Rome proper for a nice late pasta meal (and recommendations on that front are welcome to).
We arrive into FCO at 615pm local time (coming from another EU country) and our departing flight back to the US isn't until 1230pm the next day so I'm thinking we should be fine but need to figure out how to go about it from the HGI.
I know this would be easier from the Hilton proper but my corporate rate at the HGI is significantly better (114euro vs. 193euro) and my understanding is that it's easier to get the T5 for flights back to the US from the HGI (with the shuttle) vs. the Hilton which requires a long walk over to T5.
