I'm at the days inn right now. Just a few miles south of the strip. Nothing sexy, but it's clean and surrounded by a lot of stores/restaurants too.
the Go Fast rate was too good to pass up! But if you don't want to use points, there's also a promo right now for "stay 2 nights, save 20%" or something like that. Rooms were like $41 each night under the promo I think.
the area seems fine and safe. All together, I'd rather be here than at the Ramada's location. Might be dependent on where you need to go though and if you have a car.
one thing I can say for sure: do not stay at the Travelodge on the strip! I did that before...bad idea haha!
