I don't think it's necessary to say be very careful in caps. Jersey City is very safe, with expensive condos/apts, businesses. A lot of companies/businesses are ending their leases in the city to move to Jersey City, think big banks and tech companies. It is nowhere near scary, very far from that. If you want scary, East New York is scary.
