I prefer the 777 over the 380. On the 380 there are 14 suites whilst on the 777 there are only 8. The service is at least as good and the suite at least as large
There would seem, however, to be no reason to take the extra stop route unless planning a stopover in Asia ; EK offers multiple non stop services to Australia plus a non stop service to Auckland
