The same was true for PHX-DEN; I had looked the day before N fares started, and wanted to book the next day and saw the changes. I typically travel with a carry-on rollaboard, so the N fares are not going to work for me. The lowest regular economy price is now similar to that of Southwest (and WN's change policies are so much better), so UA lost a frequent customer on that route. Not that UA cares, though.
