leland No problem, the bag isn't for everybody
The ebags I was comparing it to is the TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible, which on paper seems to be only 1 inch taller and same width and depth as the Nomatic, but I think the ebags "expands" more (not talking about the expansion zipper) so I was over filling it.
I only need to travel with one laptop (MacBook Air) and tablet (iPad Pro 9.7in). I also not traveling for business (though being self employed I am always "on duty") which simplifies clothing choices.
I really like using the backpack straps -- which is why I originally bought the ebags convertible. It is just they got in the way so much when I didn't need them. That is my
#1 feature of the Nomatic.
