A friend has just passed the 24 month mark since his last personal AA application. The card is still open so he should be fine in regards to the 24 month rule. Regarding timing, does he only need to keep the card open until after he applies for a new one? Or does he need to keep it open until he receives the bonus?
I would assume only until he is approved for the new one, but unless his AF is not going to post between approval and the bonus, no need to close it during that time.
