Quick Question - AUP
Heading out on BA268 this upcoming Friday.
Currently on S class fare. And do not have any status. My flight is booked with a 3rd party travel site, so cannot upgrade ahead of the check-in period.
Currently, in WT and hoping to upgrade to WT+ (or CW).
Understand an AUP is never guaranteed.
Few questions as I'm new to doing things like AUP's:
# Seems like you can only upgrade one class up. Just wanted to confirm.
# Am I able to ask/pay for an upgrade if I call customer service? Or is this only available at check-in at the airport?
# Am I able to pay for an upgrade online at check in via the upgrade seat feature?
# Does it matter that I already paid to reserve my seats for this flight?
# Any price range of what this could cost per ticket (USD)?
# Do all my flights get released; so would possibly be able to upgrade online for my leg home?
