I have the Ameriprise version of the Platinum card and just called the retention department. I'm definitely glad I did. My only spend on the card was $400(2 x $200 airline credit for 2016 and 2017), $100 for global entry last year, and $14 for Uber Eats yesterday. Basically, those are credits and not actual spend. I was surprised they offered me 10k MR points or $150 credit. I took the $150 credit to offset the AF. I would of taken the points if I've been collecting them, but I've been doing all my spending on Chase and collection UR points.
