It should, I believe, if the seat maps changes. Example from an UA flight:

Aircraft: Boeing 767-400 (764)

New Aircraft: Boeing 767-400 (764)
(If the New Aircraft code is the same as the old, then we have detected a change in the cabin configuration.)
