I called JW Marriott in Bangkok. I asked for a meeting room for 2 people and asked if this qualifies for the EQN. Got a response back that I would need to book an event for 10+ people in order to get the 10 EQN. I don't think they are correct but am I mistaken?
There are two different programs, one where you book 10 rooms and you get credit as well as the guests that are in the rooms. This is is separate and usually not known outside the sales office. You might try calling MR and asking them to confirm that property participates and help educate them.
Again, if they know about the posting tool mentioned in above posts, then it will probably happen.
