If you are in the 380, and perhaps likely to end up on the main deck, there is quite a hefty improvement by going to WTP on the upper deck, if you can get 2 pairs along the side, it's a long flight even if you sleep well. There again it's still a grand.
If I was going solo then I'd jump on that as I'm Gold and I like the chances of being upgraded from WTP. We're currently sitting in the WT cabin on the upper deck so I *think* we'll stay where we are...for now.
