I think the language is linked to the one you set in your profile as "preferred communication language". I used to put English, but when calling from my registered phone, I was directed automatically to non French speaking staff. Now by setting it up to French, I get automatically transferred to French speaking staff. When using a different phone, I can still choose the language.
