I called the french number recently and I was asked to enter my flying blue number, then someone immediately picked up. I love that!
It will give us the possibility to call the number of our convenience and still get a great service!
If you are calling from a number that is in your FB profile then they automatically "recognise" your FB number, otherwise you have to type it, but that's about the only difference so add about 15 seconds to the overall time until someone picks up the phone.
Personally if I am roaming outside of Europe I will just use skype to call the dutch number, my skype has my dutch caller-id so it is very easy ^
