OGG-SFO today - United had 2 delays and HA didn't.

Does HA have a special power at OGG? Today's flights to SFO were delayed for UA (1pm & 2:30pm) and on time for HA's 3:10pm flight. I am surprised (but pleased) that HA wasn't delayed.
