As others have covered that you'll be fine w/ seats, I just have another note.
Make sure your car seat has a label on it certifying it for plane use. I think they pretty much all do nowadays. It'll be hit and miss whether an FA checks, but if they do, the certification better be there.
Hopefully another "duh" question, but you have a passport for the baby, right?
