I always assumed that on a late bag, it was up to me to get it from the airport if it arrived one flight after me. It didn't qualify for a free delivery to my home or hotel. (I generally assumed this is why some airlines slap the LATE tag on it. Not just to shame you
, but to make it clear to the baggage people on the other end that this one was checked in late.)
