That is excellent news. Exit immigration at HKG is one of the few things I dislike about that airport.
Multiple times I've picked the wrong exit queue and been stuck behind a family that somehow found something to argue about with the agent.
I wonder if this could be a precursor to allowing low-risk countries to use e-Channel on entry as well, similar to Australia.
