All good to know and thanks. We had planned to stay at the Concordia, but I learned that they close their restaurant completely for a couple of months (when we would be there) and re-open at Thanksgiving.
We will be in a condo and cooking at the Marriott and I really want to find something on St John with restaurants nearby - walking distance ideally! I do most of our cooking and will be doing all of the driving on STJ, which will be stressful because I am not used to driving on that side of the road. Trying not to make this too hard on myself! Does anyone know of a resort/inn that is lower key (and less expensive than Caneel Bay) that would be close to walkable (or short drive) restaurants etc.? Would like not to be spending $550/night even with the Virtuoso perks, but for the 4-5 nights we will be there if that is the best option that would be fine too.
