Personal Platinum. Held for a year, but Blue Cash back to 08 that has gotten everyday spend for many years.
01/19/17 - Fully expected to cancel, already opened an everyday card. Offered $200 or 25K miles. Decided to sleep on it.
01/20/17 - Called back, only offered $150 or 5K MR with another 15K MR after $3k spend
01/23/17 - Still just the second offer, no notes on the account about the first one, only the lower offer.
Have till the 25th to decide. Long term the Business card seems the no brainer for better redemption benefits, but not sure if I can make the $15K spend for the full bonus in the next three months. Had planned to sit out a year and wait for the next 100k bonus on the Business card.
Of course now I have two unexpected flights to DFW in the coming weeks and going to miss the lounge if I don't keep it or switch products.
