Vistara in oneworld will make financial sense for SQ in the long run as it should aid its growth and profitability. SQ isn't the main shareholder anyway in UK - Tata is. The last time SQ had 49% stake in something (VS) they didn't manage to get VS to join *A as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if Vistara makes its way to OW.
