Is that me the only one think QR has a fleet inconsistence issue need to be addressed?
Look at EK, they soon will only have 2 types of aircraft and minimal difference within each type (except the 2 class A380 and 3 class A380).
But QR, emm...there are simply too many types of aircrafts and too many sub fleet.
I think QR needs to address this issue by harmonising each types of aircraft. Maybe narrow the current fleet down to High-J A330/Low-J A330; High-J B777/Low-J B777 first. In fact, I think all A330 should be in one configuration only so that the fleet can be more flexible in dispatch.
Oh well, at least for passengers there is no equipment lottery yet. But it must be a nightmare for dispatchers.
