The Background
So after being FT’ers for some time and doing the odd mid-level TP run, we’ve been consider doing a full blown HNL TP run for a while. As luck would have it George went and got his wife pregnant and then somehow managed to convince her a boys holiday would be a fitting way to prepare for the imminent birth. So, with 1 week in Dec to play with, HNL as a target and the brief that it must be as entertaining as possible we got to work on ITA and came up with the following itinerary;
Our Plan
• BA RFS LHR-DUB
• Night in Dublin seeing the sights (boozing)
• BA J DUB LHR
• BA J LHR LAS
• 23 Hours in Vegas – If past visit to Vegas are anything to go by will be amusing..
• AA F LAS – LAX
• AA F LAS – HNL
• Two nights in HNL at the Marriot Waikiki Beach
• HAL Econ () HNL to LIH Kauai (or Isla Nublar as we will be calling it)
• Two nights in the Kaua'i Marriott Resort
• Island Helicopters flight to the Jurassic Park Waterfall (in full fancy dress)
• Followed by a tour of Kauai in traditional Jurrasic Park style Jeeps (still in fancy dress)
• HAL Econ LIH to HNL
• One final Hurrah in HNL
• AA F HNL LAX
• 9 Hours in LAX visiting 80’s Movie filming locations (and boozing)
• AA J LAX – JFK Red Eye
• 15 Hours in NYC starting a random pub in Brooklyn at 9AM to Watch England v Australia in the rugby…. What’s the worst that can happen…
• BA J JFK – LHR
• BA J LHR – DUB
• Lunch (and final beers) in Dublin
• BA RFS DUB - LHR
