What precedent is there for any exception(s) to the longstanding 60-day rule? I'm recalling none at all. If that's correct, Occam's Razor says this isn't what you should assume happened.
I remember reading about at least one person here recently who had been approved for a Citi card and then applied for another Citi card with a mailer in less than 60 days and was approved for the targeted offer.
