I recommend CX ORD-HKG-BKK. Fastest route and HKG airport is very efficient... Next up would be via HND or NRT on NH/JL/UA/AA. Transiting via Mainland China is a horror and ICN is a little backtracking but Korean/Asiana have a great product. BR via TPE is a great choice as well but may take a little longer due to Taiwanese airlines being prohibited from using Mainland China airspace on the trans-Polar route. Flying via Europe/Middle East adds a few hours to the journey and its already a very long trip...
