There are any number of reasons why airlines change schedules. If they asked every customer "hey, is it OK if we make this schedule change?" and gave every customer vetoes over schedule changes they realistically could not operate an airline. It really isn't all about your one ticket.
I think refunding and using Southwest + Delta is a perfectly fine option. Good luck.
