I received this e-mail a few days ago
Be our guest at MGallery Molitor Paris
Dear Goldorak
We are delighted to have you as one of our best customer. To enrich your memory of our hotels, we propose you a unique and unforgettable experience. Please join us for the very first After Work event at the Molitor MGallery by Sofitel. This event has been prepared by worldwide employees of AccorHotels group.
Please register now for this event which will take place on Nov 23, 2016 from 6:30 pm. Come by yourself or accompanied.
But when I tried to register, I was told that there is no more room for me...
I really like that kind of bla bla "you are one of our best customer...we are inviting you....ah but sorry, if you click more than 30 seconds after this e-mail has been sent, it's too late". Next time, please really invite people or do not invite them at all.
I know a gold member, based in Paris as me, who received the same invitation (same date) but for Sofitel Le Faubourg. Does any of you guys have received this as well ? Is it limited to Paris-based members ?
PS : a satellite out-of-topic point: there are often complaints on this forum about the poor English translations of Accor communications, but on this one, the French language was not so good too. Indeed it said "inscrivez-vous dès maintenant pour cet événement
qui prendra place le 23 novembre...". The bolded part is a literal translation from English of "which will take place", but we never say that in French. We would say "qui aura lieu" or " qui se tiendra".
