I trust and hope that KL will raise hell with Schiphol. This kind of nonsense costs them lots of money, and makes the airport ever more popular with passengers.
CPH had serious problems at central security on a few very busy days this past summer, with lines extending to the far ends of both terminals.
However . . .
. . . CPH Express (i.e. priority security) worked like a charm, and
. . . the airport promptly announced a major expansion of central security, to be up and running by next summer.
