Nope, if anything the legacy GF seat will be more spacious and comfortable. What it won't be, though, is particularly private. That's one thing Polaris really has going for it. The Polaris dividers are much more elaborate than the ones in GF.
It will also be new. I flew GF from EWR-BRU and despite all the space, it really, REALLY felt like it was an old, worn product. The footrest in a bulkhead GF seat wasn't even securely in place.
Frankly, I would much rather take the Polaris seat over GF (and this is speaking from having tried the new Polaris seat in-person).
