I don't know--it seems fairly easy to get at least $450 in benefit from the card every year if you do any amount of traveling:
- $300 from the travel credit (putting airline tickets on the card once a year could easily use all of it, or even possibly taking the subway/bus/etc. to work every day depending on where you live).
- $25 from the GE reimbursement ($100 every 4 years).
- UR from $8333/year in spend (assuming none of that is in travel/dining and you opt for the 1.5x through the travel portal--otherwise adjust accordingly). Possibly much less if you take advantage of bonus categories from their other no-AF cards, or even just putting everything non-travel/dining on the FU.
Speaking of the portal, has anyone seen yet whether Chase will apply the travel credit if you use points+cash?
