Be aware that the Mendoza airport is closed for several months, maybe longer. Airlines are flying instead to nearby airports and then sending passengers by bus for the last few hours. AFAIK the airlines are nevertheless still selling nonstop tickets to Mendoza, so be careful about this.
That explains why I've had trouble finding Mendoza flights! Looks like my visit is during the closure, Sep-Dec.
