the AA card offers in the UK kind of stink compared to here. 1 mile per GBP spent is peanuts compared to 1 mile per USD. and on Diners Club it's even worse-- to get 1000 AA miles requires 2000 GBP in spending.
you can always use the US-based card over there, but then you do get hit with the extra Citi transaction fees, so it's about a wash..
