No, it is not.
Sorry... but these theoretical thoughts can only be figured out on an individual basis. In this particular case it is $300 plus 3x. It would then change based on how much you would do to get 3x. Some would not, some would do it alot. Next factor is would you get more with the spend on another card.
Bottom line - YMMV.
