Data Point. the 40K/$1000 link is working. Bonus confirmed with rep as I had to call in ( card for dad, miles for me) to get my dad approved.
I have applied for a lot of cards lately and have about $6K in various gift cards around so the $1000 spend worked much better right now than the $3k spend
I don't like to use VGC for anything other than my Utility, cable and cell phone bills, seems if it was compromised getting the $$ back on the card would be a pain so this $1000 car works perfect for restaurants, gas, etc,etc
