Given the recent decision in the Edeka/Tengelmann deal I have strong doubt that they would gain antitrust clearance on the German level not to speak about the EU level. LH (without counting LX/OS) being the No 1 in Europe considering mileage * pax, AB is the No. 10. With forces united they would reach the strength of KLM and AF together (still without OS/LX)....
