this thread was meant to only be about tarmac transfers, not regular VIP services
ive seen differentiation between VIP (no tarmac) and VVIP (tarmac)

tarmac transfer available at a surprising number of airports
can be better than LH/airline because guaranteed car to plane
most german and swiss, AMS - sold directly from airport with sites like linked above, all extremely clear, not random 3rd party VIP service

LHR is only airport where it is extremely expensive and now requires J/F, although some in china may also be really expensive

i regret not doing it at GVA, FTers said no queues, i waited a while in a queue, so learning experience for me
also didnt do it at a caribbean airport, but may do in future in case of larger plane landing at same time

i can work on a list of links to airport sites at some point, wanted to see if there was response

ive never understood lack of discussion on FT when many pay for F/J and many love LH FCT
personally, i'll pay for VIP/VVIP but almost never pay for F/J since i spend on accommodations
