You could ask at the london transport desk which buses runpast.
I used to catch the 111(i think which ran from the central bus station to Hounslow along Bath Road and there was a bus top almost directly outside the Marriott and one of the Sheratons.
There are a lot of buses (different numbers so look at the route map or ask) and the cost is about £1 each way (I think you need exact change though )
