Not sure if this is doable - I guess the best under these constraints would be to take the train to Ulan Bator, and fly from there.
If you had more time and spoke Russian, I'd have recommended to go by plane/train to Biisk, and take the bus/marshrutka through the Altai mountains (which is a very beautiful drive).
