Aeroplan now charging AIF on cnx ac flights
This used to not be the case, but having booked quite a few ap flights, anything over a 4/5 layover, ac has apparently asked ap to collect departure AIf even though aps rules is 12 hours for North America and 24+ for overseas.
Some airports, yes, have a cnx AIf (like Yyz) but the fees I'm talking about are the departure ones (like yyc's ridiculous $30).
Has anyone had any success In getting these fees refunded?
You used to be able to call in when online wanted to charge you the AIf on long layovers, but agents have now been consisting applying it.
