There is considerable interest in forms of air travel that do not necessarily earn miles and points. This forum is the place to discuss them. Potential topics include:

• Private jets, owned or leased by the individual or business
• Private jet shared ownership programs, also called Fractional Jets. NetJets is one example.
• Companies that lease excess space on private jets, perhaps thru annual membership fee. For example, JetSmarter is a membership program that allows members to fly on empty legs of private jets (JetDeals) and seats on scheduled private jet shuttles (JetShuttle).
• General rental of private aircraft, with or without crew provided
• Private jet charter programs of major carriers, like DL Private Jets, that might or might not carry FF program miles and elite status
• One time charters for private groups, like the MegaDO flights
• Flight schools and flying lessons
• Helicopters (often airport service, so this would belong in destination fora except for discussion of operators that span regions and general issues, plus sightseeing helicopter flights)
• Commercial flights into space, any type of vehicle
