As someone who realizes that 110 or so, really isn't that bad, particularly without the necessity of 50 pounds of gear ... I'm heading to Scottsdale this weekend. Probably sticking with my fave, JW Camelback, even though the pools aren't quite as elaborate as the Desert Ridge. Both have very low rates.
Any platinum premiers stayed there lately? Wondering how they are doing on upgrades during the summer seasons. Also, any waiver of the resort fee? How about if on a government rate?
It's been a couple of years since I stayed there on a non-conference basis and not sure how they are handling things now (they used to waive the resort fee if on the gov rate).
