Santander in USA doesn't take money gram or usps. Never tried WU but I wouldn't bet on it.
I've had no issues depositing Western Union MOs either using the Santander mobile app or at an ATM.
Santander did send an email recently saying that USPS MOs would no longer be accepted by mobile (ATM is still allowed), but I have no personal experience with those.
