Personally, I'd sit on an RJ across the country if it meant a lie-flat seat on an overnight flight to Europe (a much longer flight than LAX-PHL).

Agreed, I wish I saw this thread earlier to point that out just in case. Everyone was focused on the LAX-East Coast sector.

BCN-MIA changed often for me in 12/2014...I ended up on a 763 with NGBC. Fine flight, but 3 days later it changed to a CIP 772 back when they only had a few floating around. Still comfortable enough though it was a day flight.
