Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?

As it was a PB stay, I can't complain. I booked two rooms for two nights and got 500 points amenity for each room, so 19,000 points for four room nights is a good deal even if the hotel is a bit run down. But the point should be made that not all HIX's are shiny and new. This one really doesn't compare well to most HIX's I visit.

How are the rooms?

Typical size, but it looks like it was built 30 years ago and never renovated. The floors are flimsy and the people below our room complained that we made too much noise walking around and moving suitcases.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:

Location is good traffic wise for visiting Chapel Hill/Carrboro. The hotel was almost completely sold out so that tells me that logistically it is a good choice for this area.

Bad:

I would say it needs renovation, but what they really should do is mow down the hotel and build a new HIX in its place.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Good value with PB, but I probably would not return.
