Luxury surfing trips - advice
Learning to surf in a week is always tough. For easy waves with decent options for lessons I'd look on the south shore of Oahu. I've surfed all over and for true beginners it's hard to beat Waikiki beach. Orange County,CA has some decent slow rolling breaks but it's typically less tropical than Hawaii. Tons of places like the maldives or even Indonesia are going to have some waves that are alright for beginners but overall are better for folks with experience.
